Strawberry Ice

4 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 cup water
1/8 tsp. salt
Clean berries and slice in half. Combine berries and sugar. Let
stand for 2 1/2 hours. Puree berries in an electric blender on med.
speed. Add lemon juice, salt and water to the berry puree. Churn
freeze. Makes 1/2 gal.
