Strawberry Ice Cream
1 quart strawberries (washed, hulled and cut up)
7/8 cup superfine sugar (1 cup less 2 tablespoons)
4 cups cream (1 pint heavy whipping cream, 1 pint half and half)
Crush berries and sugar. Chill berries well.
Mix berry mixture with cream and freeze according to manufacturer's
directions. Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.
