Vanilla Ice Cream
4 eggs
1 can sweetened condensed milk
12 oz. can evaporated milk
12 oz whole milk
sugar to taste
1 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
flavoring, if desired (see below)
Mix in a 2 quart can. Add sugar to taste, about 1 cup usually.
Remember that in the freezing, the taste of the sugar will diminish,
so you want the liquid to taste a bit sweeter than you want the
final product to taste.
Notes: During peach season, we mash fully ripe peaches and add
them.
If you want chocolate ice cream, just add a large instant chocolate
pudding mix!
