Vanilla Icecream 20

Simple Vanilla Ice Cream
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean
Pour the cream into a mixing bowl, add scraped vanilla
bean or vanilla extract. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time,
then continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 minute
more. Pour in the half-and-half and whisk to blend. Freeze according
to your ice cream freezers directions. Makes approx 1 1/2 quarts
