Blueberry Pudding
3 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1 pint blueberries
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup boiling water
Cream shortening and 1/2 cup sugar. Sift salt, baking powder and
flour; and add with milk to the creamed mixture. Put batter in
greased pan or casserole. Sprinkle this with the blueberries.
Cover with 1 cup sugar and the cornstarch. Cover all this with 1
cup boiling water.
Bake at 425 degrees for 45 minutes.
