Bread Pudding

1/2 cup bread crumbs or 1 slice, trimmed and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 Tbsp sugar
Pinch cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg
1 cup milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
Soak bread in milk for 20 minutes. Butter a small casserole and
add bread and milk. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake
for 40 minutes at 350F, or until firm on top.
Serves one.
