Noodle Kugel

1/2 pound wide noodles
1 pound cottage cheese
1 pint sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted, plus extra to grease pan
1/2 cup raisins
5 eggs
1/2 pound cream cheese, softened

1/2 box cornflakes, reduced to crumbs
1/4 pound butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar

Place noodles into boiling water and cook until tender. The time
will vary with the size of noodle. Beat the eggs with the sugar
and add the rest of the pudding ingredients. Grease a 9 by 12 inch
pan. Spread pudding mixture in the pan. Mix the topping ingredients
and spread over the pudding. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.

You could probably used dried cherries instead of raisins with good
results.
