FRUITY SPOTTED DICK
4 oz flour
4 oz white breadcrumbs
4 oz suet
2 oz sugar
3 oz raisins
grated rind of 1/2 orange
1/4 pint milk
Mix all ingredients with enough milk to make a thick cake mixture.
Grease a piece of tin foil. Spoon mixture on like a sausage, 2"
thick. Seal in foil. Steam for 2 hours.
