Bean Dip 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon dried oregano 3 teaspoons chili powder 1 teaspoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce 1 medium onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, diced 3 medium tomatoes, diced and seeded 8 ounces green chiles, diced 32 ounces refried beans 8 ounces tomato sauce 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded 2 tablespoons oil
Cook onion and garlic in oil until soft. Add tomatoes and chilies. Cook on medium 5 minutes. Add salt, oregano, chili powder, cumin, tabasco sauce, tomato sauce and refried beans. Heat through. Top with cheddar cheese. Makes 16 servings.
