Spinach Dip
1 package (8oz) cream cheese (softened)
1 cup sour cream
1 envelope Italian dressing mix
1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach thawed, well drained
1 can (8oz) water chestnuts, drained chopped
Mix cream cheese, sour cream and salad dressing mix with electric
mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add remaining ingredients,
mixing until well blended. Refrigerate. Serve with assorted cut-up
vegetables Makes 3 cups
Notes: Add shrimp cooked and chopped small and blended into mixture.
Hollow out center of a large loaf of round bread and fill with
mixture - place on large plate with the bread you removed from the
center of loaf along with crackers and veges.
