Hot Buttered Rum Mix 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened 1 lb. butter 1 lb. confectioner's sugar 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon ground cloves or more In large bowl of electric mixer, cream together the softened butter, confectioner's sugar, ground cinnamon and cloves. Add softened vanilla ice cream and blend thoroughly. Use immediately, or pack in a tightly-sealed container and store in freezer for up to 3 months.
To use:
For one serving, place two to three spoonfuls of mix into large mug; add one jigger rum. Fill mug with boiling water and stir.
