Ginger Beer

1 1/2 ounces of the best ground Jamaican ginger you can find
1 1/2 ounces cream of tarter
1 pound brown sugar
2 sliced lemons
4 quarts boiling water
1/2 pint yeast

One and a half ounces of the best ground Jamaican ginger you can
find, one and a half ounces cream of tarter, one pound brown sugar,
two sliced lemons, four quarts boiling water, one-half pint yeast,
mix well. Let it ferment 24 hours. In two weeks, it will be ready
for use.
