Blender Sweet Butter

1 cup light whipping cream
1/2 cup ice water

Chill the blender. Blend cream at high speed about 15 seconds, or
until the cream coats the blades. Add ice water.

Continue to blend at high speed until the butter rises to the
surface. Strain off the butter. Press out any additional
moisture;mold and chill. Keep the liquid residue to add to soup;
it is not rich enough to substitute for buttermilk.

I have made this many times. If you're doing it to be fun and
creative, great! But it's cheaper to buy butter, as this makes a
very small ammount. I add about 1/2 teaspoon salt to preserve it
better. Lots of fun to give as a gift with homemade bread.
