Fried Plantains

3 green plantains
salt
cooking oil

Peel the 3 plantains with your hands. Use a knife to cut the
plantains into pieces that are about an inch long each. Put cooking
oil in a frying pan and fry the plantains until they are golden.
Put a piece of paper towel in a plate, and put the plantains on it
to drain the oil off. When they are cooled, stand the plantains
straight up and smush each piece with a coffee mug, so that they
are round and flat. After this, fry them again until golden brown,
and when they're done, put salt on them and enjoy! (best if eaten
hot and right away)
