Chocolate Cake

2 squares bakers chocolate
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup hot water
1 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 cups milk
Melt chocolate in a microwave. Cream together in a mixer sugar,
crisco, egg, vanilla and salt. Add melted chocolate and mix. Add
hot water and mix.
Gradually add in the flour. Addbaking soda and milk and beat until
smooth. Bake at 350 deg for about 30 min
Mocha Frosting
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup softened butter (not margarine)
2 tbl strong coffee (3 tbl instant to 1/2 cup hot water)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbl cocoa
