1 pkg dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
2 cup flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1 egg,beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cold margarine
Filling
2 Tbsp sugar for top
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cut margarine into dry ingredients
very finely. Mix egg and vanilla with yeast and add to flour
mixture. Blend until smooth. Line baking dish with pastry and put
in filling. Cut up some of pastry for top and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 375 for 30 min, reduce oven to 300 and bake for another 20
minutes.
