Christmas Lebkuchen
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups honey
2.5 cups chopped almonds
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 tablespoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup candied orange peel
1/2 cup candied lemon peel
1/4 cup citron
Beat the eggs, adding a little sugar at a time, until fluffy. Add
the honey and almonds; stir in.
Add the flour, soda, and spices. Chop the candied fruit then stir
in. Mix well. Combine the mixtures and refrigerate till chilled.
