German Applesauce Meatloaf
Yield: 8 servings

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 c finely diced onion
1 c applesauce
1 c bread crumbs
3 tb ketchup
2 t salt
1/4 t black pepper

Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly oil a 9x5x3" loaf pan. In a large
bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix well. Place the meatloaf
mixture in the prepared pan. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Let cool
10-15 minutes. Turn the loaf out of the pan. Slice and serve.
