Sacher Torte

140g margarine
140g sugar
6 egg yolks
240g dark chocolate
125g flour
1 tsp baking powder
6 egg whites
150g apricot jam
1 tbls water
25 g cocos fat

Beat margarine, sugar and egg yolks untill creamy, crumble and melt
140g of the chocolate and add to the mixture. Mix in flour sifted
with baking powder and fold in the very stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into a greased and floured springform pan (24cm) and bake at
170-190 C at the first shelf from below for 60 minutes.

Cut the cooled torte once horizontally and spread with 100g of the
apricot jam, set together again. Mix the rest of the jam with 1
tbls water and heat, and brush it all over the torte.

Melt the remaining chocolate, add 2 tbls water and the cocos fat
and spread over the cake.
