KAISER-SCHMARN

2 cups flour
1 cup fresh cream
a little sugar
4 eggs, separated
1/2 cup raisins
1/8 tsp salt (or less)
sweet butter

vanilla sugar

Beat egg yolks and cream. Add flour, raisins and a bit of sugar.
Beat egg whites until a stiff froth and add to previous mixture.

Melt butter in omelet pan. When hot, pour in mixture and cook like
making an omelet (though don't fold it!). Brown slightly on both
sides, then place on a pre-heated dish. With several forks, pull
it apart into pieces and sprinkle with sugar flavored with vanilla.

My mother made this but without the raisons I have been looking for the recipe for years.I thought my sisters would know because they used to make it also but they forgot.I am pleased that I finally found basicly the same recipe. thank you.
