Wine Sauerkraut

2 pounds sauerkraut
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup beef broth
1/3 cup white wine

Rinse kraut in warm water, drain well. Cook with butter in heavy,
tightly covered pot over lowest heat 1/2 hour. Add broth and wine,
continue cooking covered 1/2 to 1 hour longer.
