Xmas Fruit Cookies 10

Fruitcake Cookies
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
5-8 oz. pkg. dates
1 lb. pecans
1/2 cup margarine
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Cut fruit into small pieces and chop pecans. Place in a large
mixing bowl. Sift together, flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Sift
flour mixture over chopped fruit mixture.
Cream margarine and sugar together. Add beaten eggs to sugar
mixture and mix well. Stir in Vanilla and lemon extracts. Gradually
add floured fruit mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 for
about 25 minutes.
