Spicy Indian Meat Dish 6 chicken drumsticks 2 large onions, chopped 2 table spoons Cumin seeds (Jeera) 2 medium green chilies 1 teaspoon soya sauce 1 teaspoon sesame oil (til ka tel) 1 teaspoon Garam Masala 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 table spoon cooking oil Salt, to taste Skin the chicken pieces and keep them aside. The skin contains a lot of fat, and is best avoided.
In a heavy bottom pan, pour some cooking oil and fry till the onions are golden-brown. Take some fried onions out of the pan, and keep aside. This will be used for garnishing later on. Add the chicken drumsticks in the pan and mix them well with the friend onions for about two minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients into the pan and mix them well.
Cover the pan and cook on a slow fire till the chicken is done. Take out the drumsticks and the onion gravy on a serving tray and garnish with the fried onions taken out earlier.
Sprinkle freshly cut coriander leaves on top. Serves 3-4 people.
