SEARCH RECIPES: LOCATION: Recipes >> Indian >> Gulab Jamun 02    Gulab Jamun 02 Indian Gulab Jamun with Milk Powder 1 cup milk powder 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 Tablespoon melted butter as needed half and half 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup water 1/2 tsp rose essence Oil/Crisco to deep fry Mix the milk powder, flour and baking soda. Add the butter and enough half and half while mixing with your fingers so that you are able to form the mixture into 1/2 inch diameter balls. Deepfry these balls on medium heat and add to sugar syrup. Sugar syrup Heat the water and dissolve the sugar in it. Remove from heat and add the Rose essence.
