Paneer Makhani

2 medium onions
1" ginger piece
3 flakes garlic
2 red-chillies
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 tsp garam masala
1 1/2 tsp coriander pwd
1 tsp cumin powder
A pinch turmeric
3 Tbsp halved cashew nuts
Paneer
1 Tbsp raisins
Sugar to taste
Salt to taste
Cooking oil

Cube the paneer, deep fry in oil till golden brown , drain and keep
aside.

Blend together the onions, garlic, ginger, red-chilies and poppy
seeds.Heat a little oil and fry the onion paste till done. Mix in
the dry powders and fry lightly.Add the cashew nuts and raisins.
Add some water and let it come to a boil. Add the paneer, sugar
and salt to taste. Simmer till gravy thickens.
