Turkey Marinade
5 oz coke cola
1/2 cup orange juice
onion powder
Garlic powder
pepper
salt
paprika
bay leaf
2 ribs celery
2 carrots
1 onion
1 apple
Mix Coca-cola and orange jiuce. pour over turkey. Then rub the
bird with onion and garlic powder, pepper and salt ( about 1/4
teaspoon of each, and sprinkle it with lots of paprika plus 1
crumbled bay leaf. Cover it and place it in the refrigerator
overnight to marinate and be sure to turn occasionally. Before
roasting place in a pan, add 2 ribs of celery chopped up (with
leaves on them) 2 carrots and 1 onion. Lift turkey out of marinade
and place on a rack in the roasting pan, and cover the veggies with
just enough water to cover them. Take 1 apple and stuff into the
cavity of the turkey. Sprinkle bird with salt and pepper, paprika,
1 bay leaf crushed and bake according to directions.
