Sopa de Lima
(Lime Soup)

2 Tbsp butter
1 onion
4 tomatoes
1 sweet chili
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
4 cup chicken broth
3 tortillas
oil for frying
2 limes

Chop onion and chili fine and cut tomatoes into wedges. Saute the
onion, tomatoes and chili in the butter until soft and lightly
browned. Heat chicken broth in a large saucepan and add sauteed
vegetables. Cut one lime into quarters and squeeze juice into soup
mixture. Add the vinegar and salt. Meanwhile heat oil in a small
frying pan. Cut tortillas into thin strips, fry in oil until crisp
and allow to drain. Pour soup into bowls and sprinkle each bowl
with tortilla strips. Slice the second lime into slices or quarters
and use to garnish soup.
