Super Easy No-Bake Butterscotch Spiders 12 oz pkg butterscotch bits 1 large can oriental, crunchy chop suey noodles. Put butterscotch bits into a microwavable container that can be loosely covered. (I use an 8 cup Pyrex measure with a dinner plate on top.) Microwave for about 2.5 minutes. Remove and stir. If unmelted chunks remain, return to microwave for about 30 seconds to 1 minute more.
Stir crunchy noodles into the melted bits until well coated. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet that has been covered with waxed paper. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Yield: About 30 'spiders'
Freezes well to make ahead for holidays.

another way to make nobake butterscotch look good, April 12, 2004 - 10:07 PM
Reviewer: countrygirl from ohio
My mother used to make these with me when I was a kid. She used to put it in the fridge to cool. after it cooled a little she would shape them into birds nests and lay them on a cookie sheet to harden. after completely cooled we would take peanut m&m's and make them look like birds eggs in the birds nests.
