PORK AND KUMARA CASSEROLE (650 watts)

4 small kumara cut into thin slices (sweet potatoes)
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
fresh ground black pepper
1 cooking apple, peeled and thinly sliced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
juice of 1 lemon
1 Tbsp hot water
2 pork steaks

Butter a casserole dish and add the kumara slices. Dot with butter
and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Place sliced onion and
apple on top of kumara and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Combine lemon juice and water and pour over the top. Arrange the
pork steaks on the top and cover with a butter paper. Put lid on
casserole and cook on HIGH 4 minutes. Turn steaks and continue
cooking for 4 minutes longer. Remove butter paper. Cover and cook
on DEFROST (30%) until meat and vegetables are tender, about 15 -
20 minutes.
