MICROWAVE WHITE SAUCE
1 tablespoon margarine or butter 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1/8 teaspoon salt Dash pepper 2/3 cup milk
In a 2-cup measure, melt margarine or butter, uncovered, at 100% power (high) for 30-40 seconds or until melted. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add 2/3 cup milk all at once and stir to combine. Cook, uncovered, on high for 2 to 4 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring every 30 seconds. Makes about 10 1-tablespoon servings.
