Chickpea Hummus

1 cup cooked (canned) chick peas
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 Tbsp ground coriander
1/2 Tbsp ground cumin
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp parsley

Process all ingredients until smooth Chill before serving. For a
less traditional Hummus but even yummier (I think) you can use the
same measure of soy beans in lieu of the chick peas. Serve as a
dip for raw vegetables, put a spoonful on halved tomatoes and
sprinkle chopped chives over them. Use in sandwiches instead of
margarine or butter. Use as a spread on toast.
