Smoked Baked Beans Yield: 6-8 servings.
2 15-ounce cans of your favorite baked beans 2 tablespoons brisket rub 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 3/4 cup ketchup 3/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce A few burned smoked brisket ends, chopped (optional)
In a large bowl, mix the beans with the brisket rub, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour the bean mixture into a disposable 8-by-12-inch aluminum tin. Cover the mixture with a layer of ketchup. Then cover the ketchup with a layer of barbecue sauce.
Place the tin of beans in a 250-degree smoker for at least 4 hours.
4. Stir in the brisket ends (if you desire). Return the beans to the smoker for 1/2 hour.
