Fruit Cobbler

We make this all the time when we go camping but we call it "Dutch Oven Cobbler."
After we cook out and all the coals are still glowing, we put our Dutch Ovens to work for the dessert.
Into the bottom, goes two cans of pie filling of our choice (usually cherry), two boxes of white cake mix, and a stick of butter chopped up on top. Set the Dutch Oven right onto the coals and 20 minutes later, fabulous Cobbler.
My all-time favorite was with apple pie filling. On top of the filling, I put raisins, pecans and cinnamon-sugar. It's wonderful! Don't get to have it too often though, cause everybodys favorite seems to be cherry.
