1 pkg wonton wraps
1 large container ricotta cheese
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 diced bell pepper
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
5 to 8 minced garlic cloves
8oz pkg pizza blend cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 to 2 cups meat
1 to 2 jars prepared spaghetti sauce
1 to 2 Tbsp Italian herbs
salt and pepper to taste
For meat use browned hamburger drained and rinsed or ground browned
turkey or browned ground chicken (can be done with boneless skinless
chicken breasts in a food processor), Italian sausage, or pepperoni.
Chop all vegetables, prepare meat if needed. Combine in bowl:
ricotta, egg, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper.
In large casserole dish layer as follows: sauce, wontons, meat,
shredded cheese, wontons, ricotta mix, wontons, vegetables, shredded
cheese, wontons, sauce, Parmesan.
Cover in foil and bake 60-70 minutes at 350. Remove from oven and
let rest 10-20 minutes before serving.
