Carbonara

1 pound bacon
1 box fettuccine cooked as directed on the box
2 TBS. unsalted butter
8 ounces heavy cream
Parmesan cheese (fresh is best)
fresh parsley

Fry the bacon until crispy and drain off the fat.. Cook and drain
the pasta well. Put butter into the pasta and stir until melted

Add about 8 ounces of heavy cream to the pasta until it is well
coated and you have a little extra in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle
a lot of Parmesan cheese over the pasta. Mix all together well.
Add the bacon.

Sprinkle with some fresh parsley.
