Spaghetti Carbonara

1 package bacon
Cooked pasta
1 pint heavy cream, more or less to taste
1/2 to 1 stick real butter cut into pieces
grated Parmesan cheese
chopped fresh parsley if desired

Fry bacon crisp. Drain and break into bite size pieces. To cooked
pasta that has been drained but still in the pot, add the butter,
stir until it melts, then add the cream and just heat it. Add the
bacon, turn into a serving bowl and mix in the cheese. Sprinkle
chopped parsley over the top if using.
