Spaghetti Carbonara bacon (quite fatty, but not in slices, rather a nice chunk) 2 eggs per person thick cream, optional grated Parmesan. spaghetti Plenty of black pepper Put water to boil.
Meanwhile, cut bacon into cubes, and put to fry in a pan (no need for oil, as the fat will melt and the bacon will cook in the fat). 5 minutes is enough on medium heat. When the water is boiling add pasta.
As soon as pasta is cooked drain. Then QUICKLY, break eggs directly into spaghetti and stir, this way the eggs will cook in the heat of the pasta. Stir quite well, so you don't get scrambled eggs with your spaghetti, it should be still quite runny. Add bacon and grated parmesan. Add plenty of black pepper.
If you use cream, then add it to the bacon, at the end. Don't boil cream as it will go bitter, just warm it up.
