28 ounce can of diced tomatoes, drained
1/4 cup finely diced onions
1 garlic clove (I use more)
2-4 tablespoons olive oil or butter
Combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, and oil in skillet. Simmer 20-30
minutes, stirring occasionally, until excess water is cooked off
and oil has separated. Season with salt and pepper.
