Tuna Sauce for Pasta
2 cans tuna in brine, drained and flaked
1 large onion chopped
1 tsp cumin seed
3 chillies, chopped
1/2 cup peeled, seeded chopped tomato
1/2 Tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
500 ml milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Fry the onion and cumin seeds in oil until the onions are golden.
Add the chillies, tomatoes and seasoning and simmer till a rich
sauce has formed. In a separate pan, make a bechamel sauce with
the butter, flour and milk. Mix in the tomato sauce, and the tuna.
Serve over pasta.
