Low-Fat Linguine and Spicy Meat Sauce

16 ounce package linguine, prepared
1 pound ground turkey breast
1 onion chopped
1/4 cup fat free chicken broth
28 ounce can Italian style plum tomatoes
3/4 teaspoon sugar
1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper
1 Tablespoon basil

Prepare linguine according to package directions and keep warm.
Meanwhile, in large nonstick skillet over high heat, cook turkey,
onion and broth until broth has evaporated and turkey is browned,
about 10 minutes. Add tomatoes with their juice, sugar and red
pepper; heat until boiling. Reduce heat to medium and simmer,
covered for 15 minutes. Stir in basil. Spoon sauce over linguine.
Serve hot. Makes 6 servings.
