Butter Tarts Pastry for 12 tarts 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp cream 1/2 cup raisins (optional) Prepare pastry and line tart tins. Mix remaining ingredients. Fill tarts 2/3 full. Bake at 450 degrees F for eight minutes. Reduce oven to 325 degrees F. and bake 20 minutes longer until pastry is lightly browned.
