Outstanding Chrusciki Recipe, December 20, 2004 - 12:44 PM
Reviewer: Connie Kowalkowski from Oconto, Wi. USA
I had this wonderful treat many years ago as a newly wed. My mother-in-law made them for Christmas. I had tried to make them myself but became discouraged when I was not able to roll them out correctly. The rolling pin and I did not yet along. I have become more adept at using the rolling pin aver the years so I thought I would try again. I searched the internet for recipies and found several. This recipe was my third try. Instead of the vanilla I added a teaspoon of rum extract. They are wonderful. Just like the ones I remember my mother-in-law making. Thank you so much for the recipe. I will now continue to make them for my children and grandchildren every Christmas as long as I am able.
