Combine eggs, vanilla, milk and fat. Mix with dry ingredients. Roll out and cut into diamond shape and cut a slit in middle. Cook in oil 365 - 375 degrees for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes. I could not cut it as asked and ended up pulling pieces off the dough. When fried, the taste left a lot to be desired. I would suggest you recheck this recipe and see if more flour should be used, more seasoning and roll on floured cloth would have been helpful. I did anyway.
