3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup blanched whole almonds, chopped fine.
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 T. unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1 tsp. grated orange zest

1. Preheat oven to 400 deg. F.
2. In a bowl combine sugar, almonds, and flur. Stir in butter, orange
juice and zest until combined well.
3. Drop batter by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets three inches
apart. Flatten each with a fork dipped in water. Bake for 6 to 7
minutes, or until golden bown.
4. Remove baking sheet from oven and let cool for 1 minute, or until
firm enough to remove, then transfer to wire racks to cool. If cookies
stick to baking sheet, return to oven for 30 sec. to 1 minute). Store
in a cool dry place until ready to serve.

The recipe showed fresh strawberries and whipped cream between the layers.
