Elephant Garlic Pie 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust 3 medium sweet onions, peeled and sliced 1 large head of elephant garlic (1/2 - 1/3 lb.) 1/2 cup real butter 3 large eggs 1/3 cup milk dash of pepper 8 ounces of grated medium cheddar cheese Saute onions and garlic in large frying pan with butter until translucent (not brown). Place in prepared pie crust.
In separate bowl mix eggs, milk, pepper, and grated cheese. Pour into pie crust. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Serves 6.
