Monday Pie
3/4 lb cold roast beef
3 oz onions
6 1/2oz can tomatoes
7 3/4 oz can baked beans
1 level Teaspoon flour
1 level teaspoon gravy powder
salt and pepper
1 lb potatoes
3 oz English Cheddar cheese, grated
Mince the cold beef and onions into a basin. Stir in tomatoes and
baked beans,flour, Gravypowder, salt and pepper and turn into a
11/2 pint shallow pie dish. Peel and slice potatoes, arrange on
top of the meat. Bake mark 5, 375 F for about 40 minutes. 10 minutes
before end of cooking time, sprinkle with grated cheese.
