Shepherds Pie
1-2 pounds ground beef browned, crumbled and drained
4-6 potatoes cooked and mashed or 4-6 servings cooked instant mashed potatoes
1 regular can sliced carrots, drained
1 medium onion diced
1-2 cups cheddar cheese
garlic powder
paprika
Old Bay Seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
In baking dish layer from bottom to top:
meat
onions
seasonings
carrots
potatoes
cheese
Bake at 350F for 45 minutes
Variation: substitute ground lamb or turkey or even chicken for
the beef.
