Shepherd's Pie

2 cups cooked meat (leftover roast beef minced or ground beef browned
or leftover roasted lamb, minced)
1 onion, diced
3 cups mashed potatoes
2 cups leftover gravy or make a couple of packets of Knorr's brown gravy mix
1-2 carrots, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
Few slices of butter

Mix the cooked meat with the gravy, onions and carrots. Pour into
a casserole large enough to hold everything. Top with mashed
potatoes, dot the top with some butter. Bake in a 350F oven for
about 45 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned.

This is very versatile, you can use most any meat, homemade gravy
or from a jar, and any vegetables you like. I also like to add
green peas and mushrooms, just saute the mushrooms first.
