Grasshopper Pie
24 chocolate wafer cookies
3 tablespoons softened butter
24 marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup Creme de Menthe green
2 cups whipped cream
additional whipped cream
Crush chocolate wafer cookies fine, then mix with softened butter
and press into a pie plate. Melt marshmallows and milk in the
top of a double boiler; after it has cooled, add Hiram Walker Creme
de Menthe green and fold in 2 cups of whipped cream. Pour into
pie shell and chill well. Then, immediately before the pie is
served, decorate it with whipped cream. Makes one 9 inch pie.
