Fruit Pizza Serves 8 4 3/8 ounces plain flour 2 5/8 ounces cornflour 2 5/8 ounces castor sugar 6 1/8 ounces butter, softened to room temperature 1 orange a little milk
7 1/16 ounces Cadbury's Bournville chocolate 5/8 cup double cream 5 1/4 ounces natural yogurt 1 small red skinned apple 1 small banana 1 kiwi fruit lemon juice Also, you will require a baking tray dusted with flour
Sieve the dry ingredients, add the sugar and ground almonds. Rub in the butter until resembling breadcrumbs. Add the finely grated orange rind, knead the dough together, wrap and cool for 1/2 an hour. Roll or press dough into a 25 cm (10 inches) circle on the baking tray then brush with milk. Bake in a moderate oven Gas Mark 4, 180C, 350F for about 20 minutes until nicely browned. Cool.
Grate 2 squares of chocolate then melt remainder; cool a little. Whip the cream and yogurt together until holding its shape then fold a little cream into the melted chocolate before folding all the chocolate into the cream. Assemble the dessert on an attractive large plate or board. Have the fruit ready prepared - peeled, sliced and tossed in lemon juice. Segment the orange too.
Spread the base with the chocolate cream and arrange the fruit on top. Sprinkle with grated chocolate. Serve within an hour whilst the base is crisp.
